Vice President Kamala Harris says she is very scared of the possibility former President Donald Trump will win the 2024 election.
During an appearance on ABC’s “The View” Wednesday, co-host Joy Behar asked how Harris would “go after the other side.”
She noted former President Barack Obama has reportedly warned the Biden campaign is “complacent” about Trump.
Meanwhile, other senior Democrats have raised similar concerns.
“Are you scared, first of all, what could happen if Trump became — God forbid — president again?” Behar asked.

“I am scared as heck, which is why I'm traveling our country … We should all be scared. But as we know … we don't run away from something when we're scared; we fight back against it.” pic.twitter.com/UYXfcIvAyj
Harris responded, “I am scared as heck.”
“Which is why I’m traveling our country,” she added.
Harris insisted, “We should all be scared.”
However, she said, “We don’t run away from something when we’re scared, we fight back against it.”
The exchange comes as RealClearPolitics average of polls show President Joe Biden and Trump locked in a head-to-head hypothetical match-up.
