There are two people in the Trump administration War Secretary Pete Hegseth would not trust to babysit his children.
They are
Secretary of State Marco Rubio and White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller.
Hegseth made that revelation in an episode of “The Katie Miller Podcast” that was posted Tuesday, The Hill reported.
Miller posed the question regarding babysitters.
“Oh, I mean, not your husband or Marco,” Hegseth said, referring to Kate Miller’s husband who is a White House aide.
Who would he have babysit? Vice President JD Vance and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
“I would trust the vice president. I mean, I’ve known Sean Duffy for years. I would trust him,” he said of his former colleague at Fox News.
“Brooke Rollins or Pam. Tulsi’s incredible,” he said, referring to the U.S. Department of Agriculture secretary, Attorney General Pam Bondi and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.
The question was asked during the “Cabinet Confidential” section of the podcast.
When Vance was asked the same question earlier this year, he said he would allow Kelly Loeffler, administrator of the Small Business Administration, to babysit his children.
