Legendary WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan died Thursday.
He was 71.
TMZ reported Hogan died of a possible “cardiac arrest” at his Clearwater, Florida, home.
WWE released a statement regarding Hogan.
“WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away,” the company posted on X. “One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s.”
“WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans,” the post concluded.
He was a powerhouse both inside and outside the ring — and was the face behind “Hulkmania.”
More recently, he stumped for President Donald Trump and was a major presence at the 2024 Republican National Convention, per Fox News.
