Former President Bill Clinton allegedly preferred girls “young” and was referenced in a large portion of documents released Wednesday connected to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In the documents, Clinton is referred to as, “John Doe #36,” and is mentioned at least 50 times. The unsealed documents were part of legal proceedings between Virginia Giuffre, an alleged victim of Epstein’s, and Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s partner. While the case was settled in 2017, a judge ruled earlier this month there would be no reason to keep the names in the document concealed.
In one of the documents, a witness, Johanna Sjoberg, alleges that Epstein mentioned that the former president likes younger girls.
While being questioned by Sigrid McCawley, Giuffre’s lawyer, Sjoberg was asked if she had any knowledge of Clinton being “a friend of Jeffrey Epstein.”
“I knew he had dealings with Bill Clinton,” Sjoberg answered. “I did not know they were friends until I read the Vanity Fair article about them going to Africa together.”
Sjoberg was then asked if Epstein had spoken to her about the former president.
“He said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls,” Sjoberg said. The former president is not accused of having done anything in the documents.
Prior to the documents being unsealed, ABC News reported Clinton’s and Prince Andrew’s names would be listed in the documents. Deceased pop star Michael Jackson and magician David Copperfield were also among the people mentioned in the documents. Former President Donald Trump, who is currently running for the GOP nomination in the 2024 election, is also mentioned, though a witness claims she never did anything sexual with him.
While Clinton is mentioned several times in the documents, Angel Urena, a spokesman for the former president, told Fox News the two did not have a personal relationship and referenced a statement regarding the matter from 2019.
Old flight logs indicate that Clinton and Trump both rode separately on Epstein’s private jet, with Clinton taking the jet to places such as Bangkok, Brunei, and Paris, according to the New York Post (NYP). Neither president went to Epstein’s private island, Little St. James, according to flight logs.
Clinton was also seen in photos with Epstein and Maxwell at the White House and reportedly hosted Epstein as a guest in the White House roughly 17 times.
Epstein’s younger brother, Mark Epstein, reportedly told the NYP that his brother had information on both Clinton and Trump so explosive that it could have ruined the 2016 election.
Epstein was discovered dead on Aug. 10, 2019, at the Metropolitan Correction Center in New York.
