Reality star Kim Kardashian recently revealed she was diagnosed with an aneurysm.
Kardashian, 45, revealed her diagnosis during Season 7 of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” per CNN.
The stresses of her recent divorce from rapper Kanye West, going to law school and testifying at the trial of the burglars who robbed her in Paris are likely contributing factors.
The first episode of the season dropped Thursday. In a preview, Kardashian is shown going into an MRI as her head appears to be bandaged.
“There was like a little aneurysm,” she is heard saying in a voice over telling her family.
The camera then pans over to sister Kourtney Kardashian saying “Whoa.”
“They were like, ‘Just stress,” and I’m like…” Kardashian then said.
“An aneurysm occurs when part of an artery wall weakens, allowing it to abnormally balloon out or widen, per the American Heart Association.
Kardashian also talks of her divorce from West, who now goes as Ye.
“People think I have the luxury of walking away,” she said.
“My ex will be in my life no matter what,” Kardashian continued. “We have four kids together.”
The couple share four children: North, 12, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6. They were married in 2014; divorced in 2021.
Kardashian talked further about West when a producer asked what she thought of his behavior, including his public displays of antisemitism.
“My poor kids,” she said. “Everyone around can handle it but like … protect my babies.”
The season preview also shows Kardashian studying for and stressing over a law exam.
She stars as a lawyer in the new Hulu series “All’s Fair.” The series also features Niecy Nash, Glenn Close and Sarah Paulson.
