King Charles III and Queen Camilla are expected to attend Easter Sunday services in St. George’s chapel at Windsor Castle.
Buckingham Palace officials made the announcement Tuesday, adding other royal members are expected to be there, too.
Charles, 75, who has been battling cancer since February, has remained out of the public eye as he undergoes treatment, according to the HuffPost, adding there has been no word as to what type of cancer the king has.
Although he has not been seen at public events, the monarch has been doing state business and “won’t be handing over his constitutional role as head of state,” per the outlet.
While other members of the royal family are expected to be in attendance Sunday, Prince William and Princess Katherine will not be there.
Kate announced last week her own cancer diagnosis and asked for privacy on behalf of her family, including their three children.
