ICE issued a final order of removal in 2024, which Roberts kindly decided to ignore while pulling down a $270,000 taxpayer-funded salary — because who needs laws when you’re in the business of “education equity,” right?
And while most of us were still trying to wrap our heads around how an illegal immigrant with a weapons charge, loaded gun, hunting knife, $3,000 in cash, and a deportation order managed to run a public school district, Townhall’s Dustin Grage dropped a casual bombshell: Roberts has been a registered Democrat voter in Maryland since 2012.

We don’t even know if he’s cast ballots. That part is still being unraveled. But honestly — does it even matter? Delegate Matt Morgan said it best: If illegal aliens aren’t supposed to vote, why are they even on the voter rolls?

But sure, Democrats will tell you the real threat to democracy is… Republicans. Or voter ID laws. Or anyone asking a few too many questions about who’s actually eligible to cast ballots.
It’s not hard to see why the left is melting down over the SAVE Act, a bill introduced by Rep. Chip Roy that would require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections. Sounds pretty basic, right? You’d think it would pass with overwhelming bipartisan support. But no — Democrats are treating it like a five-alarm fire.

So here we are. An illegal immigrant, arrested by ICE, with a weapons charge and a deportation order… who might have also been voting for over a decade.
But hey — according to Democrats, everything’s totally fine.
