Salem Radio Network host Scott Jennings shut down a left-wing pollster’s attempt to play the race card during a panel discussion about legislation to force the release of files regarding sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on CNN Tuesday night.

The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed legislation to force the release of the files on Tuesday, with Republican Rep. Clay Higgins of Louisiana as the only “no” vote. After left-wing filmmaker Franklin Leonard implied the files implicated President Donald Trump during a “CNN NewsNight” panel, Jennings cut in.

“I would like to see the evidence. What I’m saying is —” Leonard said about the release of the files, before Jennings cut in with, “Do you think after 10 years of public life, you wouldn’t know it already?”

WATCH:

“No, I don’t. That’s exactly the point,” Leonard claimed, with Jennings responding, “Oh my goodness. This is an IQ test. Don’t fail it. Come on, man. 10 years Donald Trump has been in public life. Come on.”

Trump was told in May that his name was one of many in files tied to Epstein, who pleaded guilty to sex charges in 2008, the BBC reported. Trump told reporters in July that he believes the Biden administration would have released anything they felt could damage his prospects in the 2024 presidential election.

Several minutes later, left-wing pollster Joshua Doss brought the exchange up.

“I just want to bring it back to something to something that just happened. I feel like I just heard Scott call into question this black man’s intelligence with the IQ test,” Doss claimed, prompting Jennings to respond, “That’s not what you heard.”

Should Scott Jennings' comments be seen as racially charged?

“I feel like I heard that. And so I just want to say something —” Doss said, before Jennings interrupted, saying, “You’re ridiculous.”

“This is what it sounded like,” Doss fired back, with Jennings replying, “You’re ridiculous. You want to make it racial? Go ahead. But it‘s ridiculous.”

Virginia Giuffre, one of the most prominent victims of Epstein, did not accuse Trump of misconduct in her posthumous memoir released on Oct. 21, roughly six months after she committed suicide. Giuffre’s ghostwriter told “People” that she was a huge fan of Trump.

Victims of Epstein told NBC News reporter Hallie Jackson during a Sept. 3 panel that they had no knowledge of any wrongdoing by Trump. The attorney who represented some of Epstein’s victims, Bradley Edwards, described Trump as someone who aided his efforts in a 2018 video.

“The only thing that I can say about President Trump is that he is the only person who in 2009, when I served a lot of subpoenas against a lot of people … he is the only person that picked up the phone and said, ‘let’s just talk, I’ll give ya as much time as you want, I’ll tell ya what you need to know,’” Edwards said in the 2018 video.

“And [Trump] was very helpful in the information that he gave, and gave no indication whatsoever that he was involved in anything untoward whatsoever,” Edwards continued.
