Lindsay Lohan celebrated having a baby by sharing her first picture since giving birth.
On Wednesday, she posted to Instagram stating, “I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery.”
She said, “Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world!”
Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, expressed his excitement for her and her fiancé Bader Shammas to People Magazine.
He said, “I’m so so happy for Lindsay and Bader! They will be amazing parents.”
“We are all truly blessed in so many ways!” he went on.
Her father also noted, “Everything went great with Lindsay, absolutely amazing and the delivery went really smooth.”
Lohan delivered her son, Luai, last month. A representative for the family reported that, “The family is over the moon in love.”
Her mother, Dina Lohan stated earlier this year. “Lindsay has always loved kids because I love kids and my mother loves kids; I’m one of four.”
“We have a big family, so she’s always wanted children. And she’s so maternal. Isabelle, her niece, just runs to her when she sees her,” she added.
Her mother also noted, “She’s been trying and then it happened, that little stick came up positive.”
“It’s the right time for her and Bader. Her husband is so sweet and they’re just so happy. They’re just really happy and ready,” she concluded.
Just before giving birth, Lohan embraced her belly bump to promote her nursery collaboration.

Now she is embracing her postpartum life. She referenced a “Meangirls” quote in her latest Instagram post stating, “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom.”
