President Joe Biden is stoking concerns about his age after video of him slowly and rigidly walking emerged on social media.
On Thursday, Biden traveled to the U.S.-Mexico border as the issue of illegal immigration has become a key issue in the 2024 election.
However, a video of the president walking along the border did not do much to convince viewers he was on top of the issue. Instead, it sparked some concern about his age.
In the video, Biden, 81, appeared to be walking very slowly and methodically, and rigidly.

I never bought into the body double theory but there is absolutely no way a person who walks like this rides a bicycle https://t.co/05mi9t5jTa

Also during the visit, Biden appealed to former President Donald Trump to work with him to push Congress to pass a bipartisan immigration bill.
“Instead of playing politics, why don’t we just get together and get it done,” he asked.
The trip comes as Pew Research reports December set a new record for the number of migrants attempting to cross the border with officials reporting 250,000 encounters with migrants that month.
