Bijou Phillips is once again fighting for her life.

According to Page Six, the 45-year-old model is currently hospitalized at CORE Kidney at UCLA Health, where she is undergoing dialysis as she waits for a kidney transplant.

Her representative, Cade Hudson, confirmed Wednesday that Phillips is in stable condition but urgently needs a donor.

Phillips, who is the daughter of John Phillips of the Mamas and the Papas and his third wife, Genevieve Waite, previously received a kidney transplant in 2017 from a friend.

That transplant initially appeared successful, but the kidney has since failed. She is now in need of a second transplant.

After her first surgery, Phillips experienced a series of complications. Among them was a bout with human polyomavirus 1, also known as the BK virus, which led to cellular and antibody rejection.

Her representative emphasized the urgency of the situation, saying “time is of the essence” in the search for a compatible donor.

Phillips also turned to social media to ask for help. She posted a photo of herself with her daughter, Fianna, taken when her child was born.

Should Bijou Phillips receive priority for a kidney transplant due to her urgent medical condition?

“I need help finding a kidney,” she wrote atop the image, adding, “I am in need of a kidney.”

Her health struggles date back to birth. Phillips was born with underdeveloped kidneys and spent the first three months of her life in the NICU on dialysis.

She had been on the transplant list since 2012 before receiving her first donated kidney in 2017.

At the time, she had been rushed to a Santa Barbara hospital with a fever and was diagnosed with a blood infection. Her then-husband, Danny Masterson, was by her side.

Ahead of that surgery, Phillips shared her gratitude publicly.

“I have been waiting for this day to come for a long time,” she wrote, according to People.

“Dialysis has been a blessing, and also extremely hard, I got an infection and am on my second catheter. This is major surgery, FSGS is scary, but I’m soooo intensely Grateful for my husband, my daughter, our Family!”

Since then, Phillips and Masterson have divorced following his 2023 conviction and sentencing to 30 years to life in prison for rape. She filed for divorce days after his sentencing and later gained full custody of their daughter.
