Anti-ICE violence in Minnesota is spiraling fast — and now federal authorities say a gang member has been arrested after allegedly stealing FBI weapons during the chaos.

As previously reported, tensions exploded following an incident involving Renee Good, who struck an immigration enforcement agent and was later killed after agents fired in self-defense. Since then, anti-ICE agitators have escalated from protests to outright criminal attacks.

Last Friday, mobs stormed hotels in an apparent effort to track down ICE agents, creating panic among guests and staff. By Wednesday night, the situation had grown even more dangerous. According to the Department of Homeland Security, an ICE agent was ambushed while attempting to detain a suspect. Three Venezuelan criminal illegal immigrants allegedly attacked the agent using a shovel and a broom. The agent, reportedly struck during the assault, fired his weapon in self-defense, shooting one suspect in the leg.

The FBI and DOJ have mobilized HUGE amounts of assets in Minnesota to TAKE DOWN violent anti-ICE rioters, as Tim Walz and Mayor Frey cover for the criminals.

Thanks to our video last night, the gang member who stole an FBI rifle during the riots has been ARRESTED by DOJ.

That same night, rioters broke into a federal vehicle and vandalized a weapons locker. Equipment was destroyed or stolen, and video circulating online appeared to show an agitator walking away with what was later identified as an FBI rifle — a stunning breach that immediately raised alarms across federal law enforcement.

Now, there’s been a major development.

The suspect accused of stealing FBI body armor and weaponry has been arrested.

Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed the arrest Thursday on X, crediting ATF agents in Minneapolis working alongside the Department of Justice.

“Today our @ATFHQ agents in Minneapolis, alongside @TheJusticeDept partners, executed an arrest warrant on a known member of the Latin Kings gang,” Bondi wrote. “He allegedly stole @FBI body armor and weaponry, in addition to a long list of prior violent crimes.”

Should stricter measures be taken against riots affecting law enforcement in Minnesota?

Bondi didn’t mince words about the broader political climate surrounding the violence.

“This criminal is a perfect example of what our brave federal law enforcement agents are up against every day as Minnesota leadership ENCOURAGES lawbreaking,” she added. “Thank you to our agents for their outstanding police work.”

Video footage of the suspect circulated widely before the arrest, showing an individual removing gear from the vandalized federal vehicle and walking away as riots continued around him.

FBI Director Kash Patel also confirmed the arrest, sharing photos of the severely damaged vehicle and underscoring the seriousness of the incident.

The episode has intensified scrutiny on Minnesota’s political leadership, particularly as violence against federal agents continues and rhetoric targeting ICE ramps up. With agents being assaulted, weapons stolen, and mobs roaming city streets, the situation has moved well beyond protest — and into open lawlessness.

This remains a developing story. More updates are expected as federal authorities continue their investigation.
