Journalist Megyn Kelly is offering an idea of how to end what she says is a “farce” involving transgender athletes.
In a tweet on Thursday, Kelly wrote, “I am begging – begging – any college male tennis player to put an end to this farce by declaring yourself trans [and] playing/easily winning women’s pro tennis tournaments.”
“All it will take is one biological male to win women’s Wimbledon, French Open, etc for this disgrace to end,” she added.

Kelly shared a story from The New York Post about a woman cyclist quitting the sport over transgender athletes winning races.
Champion cyclocross rider Hannah Arensman, said in a statement released by the Independent Council on Women’s Sports (ICONS) earlier this month, “I have decided to end my cycling career.”
“My sister and family sobbed as they watched a man finish in front of me, having witnessed several physical interactions with him throughout the race,” she added.
Days after Arensman’s decision to quit the sport, The Post reported transgender cyclist Tiffany Thomas “was photographed with her arms aloft in victory at the top of the podium at the Randall’s Island Crit — at least her 20th win since she started racing in 2018, while already in her 40s.”
“The NYC-based biologist posted photos of herself in full flight from the race while wearing the bright orange team kit of her team sponsor, LA Sweat,” it added.
Thomas claimed to feel like a “superhero” after winning the race.
Conservative commentator Ian Haworth reacted to Kelly’s tweet, writing, “Roger Federer comes out of retirement as Rogerina and DOMINATES for another 20 years.”

Another user tweeted, “I’m quite surprised they have not done this. There are tens of millions on the table, plenty of incentive for a mid rank man to profit.”

While Kelly offered an idea to stop transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports, World Athletics announced on Thursday it would ban some transgender women athletes from competing in female track and field events.
The new regulation would prevent “male-to-female transgender athletes who have been through male puberty” from competing in female world rankings competitions.
