Americans are fed up with political theater as we look for commonsense solutions to rising costs, violent crime, border chaos, and parental rights. Yet Democrats refuse to stand with the overwhelming majority, clinging instead to fringe positions that barely resonate with 20% of voters. Their obsession with misaligned agendas alienates everyday Americans, guarantees crushing defeats at the ballot box, and drives them further away from the values and priorities of the voters.

President Trump’s results are visible everywhere. His Washington, D.C. blueprint with the National Guard crackdown drove crime down with more than 550 arrests, took violent offenders off the streets including an MS-13 gang member and restored a sense of safety for residents.

Polls confirm what Americans already know: more than 81% see crime in our cities as a major problem, and a majority approve of Trump’s tough approach. Democrats, however, dismiss the crisis and cling to woke experiments like defunding police and no-cash bail that barely 20% of voters support. On issue after issue, Democrats side with the fringe against the 80% of Americans demanding commonsense. As Trump’s America First policies move forward, they expose Democrats’ toxic addiction to unpopular positions that will lead to the party’s collapse.

Recent polls confirm nearly 80% of Americans want more police funding. Still, Democrats double down on defunding, no-cash bail, and soft-on-crime policies that have turned cities like Chicago, Cincinnati, and San Francisco into national warning signs. Pew shows over 80% of Americans also support stronger border enforcement and legal immigration pathways, yet Democrats side with sanctuary cities and blanket amnesty, ignoring the illegal immigration crisis and fentanyl pouring into our streets.

The same disconnect exists in schools. Rasmussen polling shows more than 80% of parents want curriculum transparency, yet Democrats align with teachers’ unions to hide ideologically driven lessons from parents. On gender fairness, Democrats push extreme transgender policies that harm women, even as a New York Times/Ipsos poll shows nearly 80% of Americans oppose allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports.

Energy policy is just as misaligned. The American Petroleum Institute found 80% of swing-state voters want affordable gas over costly green mandates. Yet Democrats force EV mandates and fossil fuel restrictions that drive up costs for working families already struggling to make ends meet.

The 2024 elections proved Americans are demanding common sense. Trump narrowed the Hispanic vote gap to 48–51% against Harris and flipped swing states by campaigning on 80/20 issues like the economy, border security, and crime. Democrats’ refusal to abandon fringe policies leaves them exposed in the midterms and beyond. Trump’s second term is positioned not only to exploit this weakness but to realign American politics around the priorities of the majority.

Looking ahead, Trump’s agenda forces Democrats into losing positions. Majority of Americans say the economy is their top priority, and Trump finds solutions with pro-AI and technology policies that drive innovation and growth. Democrats, however, side with Big Tech censorship and overregulation in the name of “equity” and “misinformation,” repelling the majority who believe social media companies deliberately silence opposing viewpoints.

School choice has also become a losing position for Democrats as support surges nationwide. A recent poll found 81% of Americans want parents empowered with broader choice. Trump championed school choice to let families abandon failing public schools. Yet Democrats controlled by unions hold on to failing schools and further undermine their claim as the “education party” alienating key demographics.

On national issues, Trump again aligns with most Americans. A majority of Americans view China as a threat, and his tariffs and strategic separation put America first. Democrats push cooperation to appease globalist donors, alienating the working class whose jobs were lost to China’s export surge. The same divide is clear on cryptocurrency, where the majority of Gen Z and millennials see digital assets as the future, yet Democrats’ SEC crackdowns make them the anti-innovation party, driving the younger generations away. Even on space, Trump’s Space Force and partnerships like SpaceX inspire pride and strengthen defense, while Democrats’ climate-first restrictions expose them as anti-progress and out of touch with America’s drive for leadership, security, and national pride.

The traps confronting Democrats are deliberate, and they can’t resist doubling down. Whether it’s siding with unions over school choice, hurting girls by allowing boys in women’s sports, or defending AI censorship, each position drives them further from the American mainstream. Moderates and independents are turning to the GOP for common sense answers. By 2026, that shift will be undeniable: an electoral sweep for Republicans as voters reject economic pain and rampant crime in Democrat-run cities, realities underscored by recent AP-NORC polling.

Democrats’ addiction to the fringe 20% is a self-destructive strategy. Trump’s America First agenda aligns with the 80% of Americans delivering prosperity, freedom, and safety and securing a Republican legacy that will outlast the Left’s collapse.
