First lady Melania Trump and Kate Middleton were scouted visiting the the Squirrel Scouts Thursday.
The outing, held at Frogmore Gardens in Windsor, was the first joint outing by Melania Trump, 55, and the Princess of Wales, 43, per Fox News.
The event for the Squirrel Scouts, for children 4-6, saw children explore nature and earn their “Go Wild” badge.
The U.K.’s U.K.’s Chief Scout Dwayne Fields led the scouts.
The first lady spent time at an arts and crafts table, which included putting ink on leaves and pressing them on paper and adding illustrations, according to a White House press release.
“This is beautiful!” Trump exclaimed as she examined the art.
One small boy showed her how to do a leaf pressing.
Using a brown marker, Trump filled in an outline of a bear
“He’s a happy bear, right?” she asked.
She was shown where to put paste and where to put the leaves.
Trump took a yellow marker and drew a sun and a green marker to draw grass. A boy added a pink flower to the drawing using a pink marker.
A girl took Trump’s hand and led her to another table were the girl sat on her lap as she spoke.
“Nice to meet you all. What are you doing? It’s so beautiful. It’s so nice.” Trump said.
The children were building “bug hotels” out of bits of cardboard and cardboard tubes.
“Show me how, what I should do,” she said.
“Oh yes, fun!” she replied when shown what to do.
One scout asked Trump what her favorite bug was.
The answer? “A ladybug.”
The Princess of Wales was seen sitting on the grass, talking with the children about their art, Fox News reported.
Princess Kate and the first lady also took part in a game with a parachute full of balls. The pair laughed as the kids scrambled underneath to push them out, according to People.
