Former First Lady Melania Trump is speaking out about her husband’s third run for the presidency.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, she said, “My husband achieved tremendous success in his first administration, and he can lead us toward greatness and prosperity once again.”
“He has my support, and we look forward to restoring hope for the future and leading America with love and strength,” the former first lady added.

She also shared that if she had “the privilege” of being first lady again she would “prioritize the well-being and development of children as I have always done.”
The former first lady explained she has developed a program since leaving Washington, D.C., aimed at providing computer science scholarships to children aging out of the foster care system.
“Since leaving Washington D.C., my commitment to the foster community has grown stronger,” she told Fox News Digital, adding, “At the present time, there are more than 400,000 children in the foster care system, and there is less than a 3% chance of former foster children completing their college education. In fact, many end up on the street, homeless.”
She added, “My focus would continue to be creating a safe and nurturing space for children to learn, grow, and thrive.”

Polls show Trump is currently the front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
According to FiveThirtyEight’s aggregator of polls, Trump leads the primary field with 52.7% of voters while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) comes in second with 22.3%.
And an ABC News/Washington Post poll released on Sunday appeared to show the 45th president may be in a good position to run against President Joe Biden.
The survey found 68% of respondents said Biden, who would be 86 at the end of a second term, is too old for another four years. Meanwhile, 32% said he has the “mental sharpness” to be president and 33% said he is in “good enough physical health to be president.”
By contrast, 54% of respondents said Trump has the “mental sharpness” to be president, and 64% said his physical health was good enough to be president.
Additionally, 44% of respondents said they would definitely or probably vote for Trump in the general election, while 38% said the same of Biden.
