Former congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene thinks President Donald Trump should be removed from office.
Greene expressed her wishes with a post on X where she advocated for the 25th Amendment remove him as president Tuesday morning, per Mediaite.
Greene’s words came after Trump issued a treat against Iran.
“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS? We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!”
The warning was given about 12 hours before the 8 p.m. deadline to reach a deal with Iran regarding the ongoing conflict between the regime and the United States.
Greene, a former Trump supporter who resigned from Congress earlier this year, expressed her disgust with Trump’s message.
“25TH AMENDMENT!!!” she wrote on X. “Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness.”
Greene also vilified Trump’s Easter assertion that “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F***in’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”
“On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted. Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness,” Greene wrote on X. “Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians.”
