Federal prosecutors have charged a former teacher and National Guard veteran with running what authorities describe as a prostitution operation out of his home in upstate New York, allegedly hosting a series of raucous “prostitution parties” over several years.
Eric Simpson, 66, a technology teacher in the North Rose-Wolcott Central School District, was indicted by a federal grand jury after investigators say he organized and promoted events involving commercial sex workers at his residence in Macedon, New York.
According to the indictment, Simpson allegedly hosted the gatherings from 2021 through late 2025, regularly inviting guests to attend the parties where sex workers were available to perform commercial sex acts.
Prosecutors say Simpson actively managed the operation, arranging for commercial sex workers to attend and coordinating interactions between the women and party guests.
The indictment alleges that Simpson also participated in the activities himself while facilitating encounters between the workers and attendees.
Authorities say Simpson used email to promote the events, allegedly sending messages that included updated lists of which sex workers would be present during upcoming parties. The emails also reportedly instructed attendees to negotiate payment — sometimes described as “donations for services” — directly with the women.
Federal prosecutors further allege that Simpson established a cover charge for guests attending the parties and managed logistical details such as room assignments and “accommodations” inside the home.
According to court documents, Simpson even directed guests where to park, instructing them to use areas away from the home in order to keep the gatherings discreet.

Investigators also say Simpson used the nickname “Major Hands,” a reference included in the federal indictment.
Before his teaching career, Simpson spent nearly three decades in the New York National Guard. His service included deployments to Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
According to professional records, Simpson served for 29 years before ending his military tenure in 2010 as a commissioned officer in Rochester and Troy, New York.
Following his military service, Simpson worked as a substitute English teacher in Monroe County Public Schools before eventually becoming a technology teacher in the North Rose-Wolcott Central School District.
The school district confirmed that Simpson resigned from his position in January after the allegations surfaced.
Federal prosecutors in the Western District of New York have charged Simpson with one count of using interstate facilities to promote, manage, establish, carry on, and facilitate a prostitution enterprise.
Simpson was arraigned Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The case now moves forward in federal court as authorities continue investigating the alleged prostitution ring that prosecutors say operated out of the quiet suburban home for years.
