South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) seems to have had enough of being asked about a controversial portion of her forthcoming book.

On Monday, Noem appeared on Fox Business and was asked by host Stuart Varney, “Do you think you are still in line to be Trump’s vice president?

“It’s up to Donald Trump, he’s the only person who will decide this,” the governor responded.

When she shared she speaks with former President Donald Trump, Varney repeatedly tried to ask if he asked about her revelation she killed her dog Cricket.

“I talk to President Trump all the time… about a lot of things. And right now, I tell you what, he is be persecuted in a political witch hunt in this court case, so I’m proud of him about how tough he is and well he is doing,” Noem said.

When Varney asked again if Trump tried to bring up the dog, Noem shot back, “Enough, Stuart. This interview is ridiculous what you are doing right now. So you need to stop.”

“Let’s talk about some real topics that Americans care about,” she added.

However, Varney responded, “I’m afraid we’re out out of time.’

“Oh, well, of course we are,” Noem quipped.

Varney admitted he “pressed hard,” but defended his line of questioning by stating, “That’s what people are talking about to this day.”
