Former President Barack Obama is urging Georgia voters to support Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) over Herschel Walker (R) in the upcoming Senate run-off election.
But some Twitter users questioned whether his comments might have been a subtle jab at the current president.
During a rally on Thursday, Obama noted Walker “has been talking about issues that are of great importance to the people of Georgia. Like whether it’s better to be a vampire or werewolf.”
“This is a debate that, I must confess, I once had myself. When I was seven,” he joked. “Then I grew up.”

At a separate point, Obama suggested Walker may not be fit to be a senator.
“We all know some folks in our lives … they say crazy stuff … Uncle Joe, you know what happened to him,” he said.
Obama added, “It’s OK. They’re part of the family, but you don’t give them serious responsibilities.”

Some on Twitter questioned whether “Uncle Joe” was a reference to President Joe Biden.
Dan McLaughlin, a senior writer at National Review, tweeted, “He coulda said Uncle Frank, but tellingly, Uncle Joe.”

So Obama admitted "Uncle Joe" is crazy tonight and nobody takes him seriously or gives him serious responsibilities. It's the most honest thing he's ever said.

Biden has sought to dismiss concerns about his fitness for the job by telling Americans, “Watch me.”
During a September interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” the president was asked how his mental focus is.
Biden on his mental focus: “Oh focused. Hahaha I’d say it’s, it is I haven’t… here, look. I have trouble even mentioning, even saying to myself, in my head, the number of years. I no more think of myself being old as I am than fly.”pic.twitter.com/4UKPIZElZg
