It gets better. Sund, the man on the ground that day, posted a point-by-point reminder for Pelosi—just in case her memory was still fuzzy. He said her Sergeant at Arms blocked his National Guard requests multiple times. Seventy minutes passed while the Capitol descended into chaos. Seventy minutes. But Pelosi? She wants you to forget that. Move on. Don’t ask questions. Don’t dig deeper.
Unfortunately for her, a new January 6 committee is digging. And this time, it’s not being chaired by her hand-picked allies. Rep. Barry Loudermilk is heading it up, and unlike the last round of political theater, this committee might actually follow the facts—all of them.
Maybe that’s why Pelosi’s nerves are showing. Maybe that’s why a single question from a reporter sent her off the rails. She sees what’s coming. She knows her tightly controlled narrative is cracking.
