Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is paying no attention to the public stance of the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

Pelosi appeared on CNN Wednesday and claimed that if “God forbid” former President Donald Trump wins the general election in November, he would support a national ban on abortion.

“He’d be for a national abortion ban, make no mistake. I don’t care what he says, but that‘s what he’s about,” she insisted.

She suggested Trump might “hedge” that position from a “political standpoint, but was adamant that would be his position.

In a video posted on Truth on earlier this month, Trump addressed his position on abortion.

“The states will determine by vote, or legislation, or perhaps both, and whatever they decide must be the law of the land – in this case, the law of the state,” Trump said.

He added, “Many states will be different. Many states will have a different number of weeks … at the end of the day it is all about the will of the people.”
