Fox News reporter Peter Doocy poked holes in President Joe Biden’s excuse as to why he has not been to East Palestine, Ohio.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Doocy asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about whether or not Biden has “not had a break” to be able to visit East Palestine since a freight train carrying hazardous materials derailed on Feb. 3.
“The president said over the long weekend that he hasn’t had the occasion to go to East Palestine, ‘I just haven’t been able to break,'” Doocy said. “The derailment was on February 3rd, President Biden has not had a break since February 3rd?”
Doocy: Biden "said…he hasn't had the occasion to go to East Palestine. 'I just haven't been able to break.' The derailment was on February 3. [He] has not had a break since February 3?"

Jean-Pierre told Doocy that “the president will go to East Palestine” pointing out that he had “promised” to and “he will.”
Over the weekend as Biden was visiting Florida to survey the damage from Hurricane Idalia, a reporter asked him why he had not visited East Palestine yet.
“You said in March that you would go to East Palestine, Ohio. You came here. How come you haven’t gone to East Palestine yet?” the reporter asked him.
Biden responded to the question by saying that he hasn’t “had the occasion to go to East Palestine.”
“There is a lot going on here, and I just haven’t been able to break,” Biden said.
Despite Biden’s claim that he hasn’t had time to visit East Palestine, he has been on multiple vacations to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
