Poll Delivers Devastating Results for Biden As 70% of NY Voters Say He Is Not Fit for Another Term

Well, it seems almost every day now we are getting polls showing that voters are waking to the idea that President Joe Biden simply is not up for another four years.

On Monday, a Siena College poll found the trend appears to be gaining steam even in the liberal enclave of New York.

The survey found 70% of New York voters believe Biden is not fit for the job.

And just 48% of Democrats said he is up for the job.

The poll comes after Special Counsel Robert Hur released a devastating report about Biden’s handling of classified documents. Hur included several damaging portions suggesting the president did not know when he was vice president or when his son died, which the White House has pushed back on.

But the survey was not exclusively bad for Biden.

It found 58% of New York voters think Trump is not fit for another four years.

Additionally, 41% of voters said they preferred a candidate other than Trump or Biden.

Siena pollster Steven Greenberg, said, “New York voters are not enthused about the likely major party presidential candidates.”

“While 61% of Republicans stick with Trump and 29% want someone else, only 46% of Democrats want Biden, compared to 38% who want another choice. Pluralities of white, Black and Latino voters all want their next president to not be named Biden or Trump,” he added.

Still, there was some good news for the current president as a hypothetical match-up found him leading Trump 48% to 36%.

“It’s worth remembering just how ‘blue’ New York is. Democrats have a 27-point enrollment advantage over Republicans, Biden beat Trump by 23 points in 2020, and no Republican presidential candidate has carried the state since Ronald Reagan in 1984, 40 years ago,” Greenberg added.

The poll numbers are atrocious for Biden. If less than 50% of Democratic voters in such a liberal state think he is not up for the job, than concerns about his age are spreading beyond just the reach of Fox News viewers.

Yet, again, if Republicans are going with a candidate who still loses to Biden, maybe they’re not sending their best.
