In a recent poll, a majority of voters expressed having concerns regarding President Joe Biden‘s mental and physical health.

The poll from NBC News showed that 68% of voters said they have concerns about whether Biden is mentally and physically healthy to be president compared to 32% of voters who said they had “minor” or “no concern” regarding Biden’s health.

By comparison, when asked if they have concerns about former President Donald Trump‘s mental and physical health, 55% of voters expressed “major” or “moderate” concerns compared to 44% who either had “minor” or “no concern” regarding his health.

Despite a majority of voters expressing concerns about Biden’s health, when asked who they would vote for between Biden and Trump if the election was held today, 49% said they would vote for Biden compared to 45% who said they would vote for Trump.

NBC News poll: “68% of all voters say they have concerns about Biden having the necessary mental and physical health to be president, including 55% who say they have ‘major’ concerns.”

Do you think that Joe Biden is mentally and physically capable to be president?

In the same poll from NBC News, Trump was shown to be the top choice among Republican voters, despite his recent indictment.

The poll found that 51% of GOP voters would support the former president, while 22% said they would vote for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and 7% said they would vote for former Vice President Mike Pence.

Voters have expressed concerns over Biden’s health in previous polls, especially with his frequent gaffes during his speeches.

A NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll from May 23 showed that 62% of Americans – 84% of Republicans, 69% of Independents, and 36% of Democrats – feel that Biden’s “mental fitness to be president is a real concern.”

While visiting the Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretative Center and Preserve in Palo Alto, California, Biden mixed up his years, vowing to “conserve 30% of all lands and water” in the United States by 2020. Prior to Biden mixing up the years, during a speech on gun control at the National Safety Communities Summit in Hartford, Connecticut, Biden thanked the crowd and said, “God save the queen, man.”
