President Joe Biden is doing just fine after he tripped three times going up the steps to Air Force One.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked by a reporter on Monday, “Just checking on the president. He fell going up the steps to Air Force One on Friday. Is he okay?

“He’s 100% fine,” Psaki responded. “I don’t know if you’ve been up those steps, they’re a little tricky sometimes.”

She also said she is “not aware” of Biden, 78, needing to see a doctor after the stumble.

When asked for a definitive answer, Psaki said, “He was walking around, as you all saw, by the end of the day … He’s absolutely fine as he was on Friday.”

Biden tripped three times on the steps going up to Air Force One on Friday as he departed for a trip to Atlanta, Georgia.

After the incident, White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, “It’s pretty windy outside. It’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself.”

The New York Post reported that there were winds of 20 miles per hour with wind gusts of up to 25 miles per hour on Friday, citing the National Weather Service.

Despite the incident, Biden delivered remarks later that day decrying violence against Asian Americans.
