Os Ansar são um movimento religioso sufi no Sudão cujos seguidores são discípulos de Muhammad Ahmad, um líder religioso sudanês baseado na Ilha Aba que se proclamou Mahdi em 29 de junho de 1881. Seus seguidores venceram uma série de vitórias contra os egípcios, culminando na captura de Cartum em janeiro de 1885.
