About community

A man in Bangkok has been arrested after riding a jet ski through a flooded street, sending waves across the water as friends filmed the stunt. Sorn Keadsiri, 27, said he hoped to lift locals' spirits amid the flooding. Sorn later apologized, saying he had not considered how his actions could affect others. A court sentenced him to 15 days in prison, suspended for a year, and fined him 5,000 baht. He was also placed on probation, ordered to complete community service, and had his jet ski confiscated. The stunt came as severe flooding affected communities across Thailand.Daily Mail
