Barlow Wins Wyoming Governor Primary Over Trump-Backed Degenfelder

Gillette veterinarian and former Wyoming House Speaker Eric Barlow won the GOP nomination for governor, defeating President Donald Trump-endorsed Megan Degenfelder and Brent Bien and will face Democrat Kenneth Casner in November as the heavy favorite in a solidly Republican state. The race drew attention to endorsements and internal party dynamics, but Barlow’s victory solidifies his path to the governorship.
