Sir Ralph Freeman foi um juiz civil inglês nascido em St Mary-at-Hill, Billingsgate, Londres e viveu em Military St Westminster. Ele foi educado no Eton College, depois no King's College, Cambridge e foi chamado para a barra do Middle Temple em 1606; mais tarde recebeu um título de cavaleiro em 1617. Ele também era conhecido como dramaturgo e tradutor.
