Bron Breakker Rumble plans reconsidered

WWE’s Netflix series WWE Unreal reveals that Bron Breakker was originally planned to win the 2026 Royal Rumble and go on to WrestleMania, but Triple H and the creative team stopped the push amid fears of fan backlash and being perceived as shoving him down fans’ throats, leading to Roman Reigns winning after roster changes. The discussions highlight the ongoing effort to elevate Breakker beyond being “the next Steiner” and avoid a 2015-style backlash, with executives weighing his potential once the spotlight shifts away from immediate title plans.
