Manitoba Premier Open to 3,300-KM Alberta-Ontario Pipeline

Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew said he’s open to entertaining the proposed 3,300-km west-to-east pipeline from Hardisty to Sarnia, backed by Alberta and Ontario, noting it could strengthen Canada and generate local work. He emphasized that such projects must be done the right way—with environmental safeguards and Indigenous governments on board—and referenced ongoing feasibility work and a cost/timetable to be released by the other provinces.
