Rapper Travis Scott was arrested early Thursday on charges of trespassing and public intoxication.
According to CNN, Scott, whose legal name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was arrested at 1:44 a.m. at the Miami Beach Marina. He was booked into jail at 4:35 a.m., according to authorities and jail records.
The 33-year-old posted a $650 bond and was released, according to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami-Dade County.
The incident started as Scott was on a charter boat and was involved in a disturbance with the crew, police said. Officers were called to the marina, and Scott was asked to leave. Scott left and came back and got into another dispute with the cre. He was asked to leave again, and was arrested when he refused, police said.
“The defendant later admitted that he had been drinking alcohol and stated, “‘It’s Miami,’” the affidavit read.
The affidavit also noted 10 officers used body cams.
Scott’s 2018 album “Astroworld” and the No. 1 hit single “Sicko Mode” featuring Drake, has been his most successful musical endeavor to date.
The album was nominated for a Grammy for best rap album, while “Sicko Mode” was nominated for best rap song and best rap performance.
He shares two children with Kylie Jenner of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
