President Joe Biden has allegedly “not met” his grandchild, the daughter of his son, Hunter Biden and Lunden Roberts, a former employee of his investment firm.
The claim comes from The New York Times article, which alleges the president and Hunter Biden have not met the young girl, though she does have knowledge of who they are.
“There is a 4-year-old girl in rural Arkansas who is learning to ride a camouflage-patterned four-wheeler alongside her cousins,” the article begins. “Some days, she wears a bow in her hair, and on other days, she threads her long blond ponytail through the back of a baseball cap.”
This girl, the article claims, “is aware that her father is Hunter Biden and that her paternal grandfather is the president of the United States. She speaks about both of them often, but she has not met them.”
The article from the Times comes after a court filing released Thursday ended the years-long child support battle between Roberts and Hunter Biden.
According to the filing, Hunter Biden will start paying child support and will allow his daughter to pick whatever paintings of his she would like to keep.
The story surrounding Hunter Biden's child in Arkansas is a tale of two families, one of them powerful, one of them not. But at its core, the story is about money, corrosive politics and what it means to have the Biden birthright. https://t.co/1vI9fh3Jmc

“She’s very proud of who her grandfather is and who her dad is,” Roberts told the outlet, speaking of her daughter, Navy Joan Roberts. “That is something that I would never allow her to think otherwise.”
In 2020, a judge ruled that Hunter Biden was the father of Navy Joan after a paternity test and ruled he had to pay child support, despite protesting that he had no money.
Although Joe Biden has seven grandchildren and “his public image is centered around his devotion to his family,” as the Times reports, aides have allegedly been instructed during strategy meetings to say the Bidens have “six, not seven, grandchildren,” two people familiar with the situation told the outlet.
The president’s alleged refusal to acknowledge his granddaughter has been questioned on multiple occasions.
When questioned by a reporter in May regarding the Bidens’ refusal to acknowledge their seventh grandchild, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said she was “not gonna speak to that from here.”
Biden has backed up the claim by repeating that he has six grandchildren, instead of seven. During a “Take Your Child to Work Day” event at the White House, he proudly named each of his six grandchildren, except for Navy Joan.
