Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-NM) thought it would be a good idea to show up to the State of the Union address with a sign, but one Republican lawmaker was not having it.
As President Donald Trump walked in to the House chamber on Tuesday evening, Stansbury held up a sign that read, “This is not normal.”
Although the sign made its appearance on TV, it was brief. Rep. Lance Gooden (R-Texas) snatches it from her hands and tossed it.
Trump was in front of the moment.
