President Donald Trump celebrated women at an event Wednesday at the White House, leading the charge to recognize just two genders.
“For four long years, we had an administration that tried to abolish the very concept of womanhood and replace it with radical gender ideology … Under the Trump administration, we’re ending the Marxist war on women,” Trump said, per the Daily Wire.
“No matter how many surgeries you have, or chemicals you inject, if you are born with male DNA in every cell of your body, you can never become a woman,” he said. “You’re not going to be a woman.”
Trump pointed out the executive order he signed in February.
“And that’s why last month I proudly signed a historic executive order to ban [trans-identifying] men from competing in women’s sports,” the president said. Trump also banned “puberty blockers and the sexual mutilation of minors.”
Trump’s words were music to the ears of those who share those sentiments.
Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines, outspoken critic of biological men participating in women’s sports, wrote on X and echoed what Trump said.
She wrote: “No matter how many surgeries you have, or chemicals you inject, if you are born with male DNA in every cell of your body, you can never become a woman. You’re not going to be a woman.’ LOUDER PLEASE!!!!”
Megyn Kelly, host of “The Megyn Kelly Show on Sirius XM,” simply wrote, “PREACH, Mr. President!” when she reposted a tweet from Charles Kirk of Turning Point USA.
“Finally, America once again has a president who will mark Women’s History Month by honoring actual women. ‘No matter how many surgeries you have, or chemicals you inject, if you are born with male DNA in every cell of your body, you can never become a woman.’ Amen!” Kirk posted.
Trump pointed to the many women throughout history whose legacies were being honored.
“… Betsy Ross, Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony, Clara Barton, and Amelia Earhart, all legends. And their extraordinary courage and patriotism and devotion propelled our nation to glory and to greatness,” Trump said.
