The Republican National Committee’s (RNC) headquarters in Washington, D.C., is on lockdown.
On Wednesday morning, the Global Press posted on X, “RNC Headquarters near Capitol Hill is currently being evacuated. Reports of a suspicious package with hazmat teams and a large police presence on Capitol Hill.”
“Three sources on the ground tell us that vials of blood were sent to the main building,” it added.
Meanwhile, Fox News’ Bill Hemmer noted early reports “suggested” a white powder was found.
However, he added the network had not confirmed it.
Still, he pointed out that there was a law enforcement presence and police tape up outside the building, he added “Something’s happening inside.”
