MSNBC host Joe Scarborough is warning Republicans to not “dance on someone’s grave” because “what goes around comes around.”

Scarborough issued the warning on Friday’s “Morning Joe” episode. It follows the federal indictment of of former FBI Director James Comey Thursday, per The Hill.

“Republicans must understand that what goes around comes around,” Scarborough said. “They must understand that if there’s a billionaire independent who decides to be president of the United States, gets elected and then decides to start going after Republicans.”

But as they say, “turnabout is fair play.”

This means anyone who is anti-Trump or his allies could target “Republican senators, Republican House members, Republican judges, Republican political operatives” if elected president, Scarborough said.

“All that independent will have to do is just pick up the phone, call his or her attorney general and say, ‘arrest Republican senator A, arrest Republican political opponent B,” he added

Joe Scarborough is whining over the Comey indictment:

He says Trump is making Comey a “martyr for the rule of law."

Hey @JoeNBC – buckle up buttercup. This is the first of many arrests.

Comey was indicted in connection with testimony he gave before the Senate in 2020 as it probed investigations into ties Trump’s 2016 campaign had with Russia.

Trump has dismissed “Russiagate” as a hoax. He has also attacked Comey and others in federal law enforcement who he said were out to get.

In a social media post, Comey said he is “not afraid” of the charges he faces. He added his “heart is broken for the Department of Justice, but I have great confidence in the federal judicial system.”

Trump posted on Truth Social that Comey was a a “bad cop.”

Democrats have argued that a conviction is unlikely.
