“The View’ co-host Joy Behar believes President Joe Biden will be ending his campaign.
During a segment of the show on Thursday, Behar said, “It’s so depressing. The whole thing.”
“I think he’s going to drop out now. That’s my feeling,” she continued. “I don’t have any information, but when Pelosi gets into this, and Schumer, and Schiff, and Jeffries, and they all say, ‘It’s time to go.'”
She suggested Biden testing positive for COVID-19 is a “good way for him to get out because he needs this time to show how strong he is, and he’s sick, and the time is very, very short now.”

Behar noted she spoke to former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in 2016 and she believed Trump was not going to win.
“I think [Pelosi’s] learned her lesson… so she’s very cautious now,” Behar said.
She added, “And we have to save the country now.”
On Wednesday, CNN reported former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) “privately told President Joe Biden in a recent conversation that polling shows that the president cannot defeat Donald Trump and that Biden could destroy Democrats’ chances of winning the House in November if he continues seeking a second term, according to four sources briefed on the call.”
“The president responded by pushing back, telling Pelosi he has seen polls that indicate he can win, one source said. Another one of the sources described Biden as getting defensive about the polls. At one point, Pelosi asked Mike Donilon, Biden’s longtime adviser, to get on the line to talk over the data,” the article continued.
Also on Wednesday, ABC News reported Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) met with Biden and made “the case it would be best if Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race.”
A spokesperson for Schumer told the network, “Unless ABC’s source is Chuck Schumer or President Joe Biden the reporting is idle speculation. Leader Schumer conveyed the views of his caucus directly to President Biden on Saturday.”
Meanwhile, Axios reported top Democrats believe Biden will end his re-election bid by this weekend.
