If former President Donald Trump is acquitted in his current hush money trial, there’s a “good chance” Stormy Daniels and her husband will leave the United States.

Barrett Blade, Daniels’ husband, said regardless of whether or not Trump is acquitted, it’s a no-win situation for porn star Daniels, who allegedly had sex with Trump and was then paid $130,000 for her silence about the affair, per an interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett on “OutFront.”

“Either way, I don’t think it gets better for her. I think if it’s not guilty, we got to decide what to do. Good chance we’ll probably vacate this country,” Blade said.

He added that if the verdict is guilty, things still wouldn’t improve for his wife since she’d likely be the target of vitriol by Trump supporters.

Trump, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, has had many Republican leaders show their support by showing up for the trial, including House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), per the IJR.

“I don’t see it as a win situation either way,” Blade said. “I know that we would like to get on with our lives. I know that she wants to move past this. We just want to do what I guess you’d say normal people get to do in some aspects but I don’t know if that ever will be, you know, and it breaks my heart.”

After the alleged one-night stand in 2006, Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen allegedly paid Daniels the money and was then reimbursed by Trump, who allegedly falsified business records to cover up the payment.

Trump has denied the affair happened and has pleaded not guilty to all 34 counts against him, per IJR.

Daniels took the stand last week and said she met Trump at a celebrity golf tournament.

She also went into detail about the alleged sexual encounter.

Trump attorney Susan Necheles, during cross examination, attacked Daniels’ credibility by saying she was making up the alleged incident for money.

“If that story was untrue, I would have written it to be a lot better,” Daniels said of the alleged sexual encounter.

In the CNN interview, Burnett asked Blade of the possibility of Daniels fabricating the story.

Blade stood up for his wife and called her “a brilliant writer.”

He also said that she would have come up with a better story than what she has said about Trump.

And now, Daniels just wants to get on with her life, he said.

“As much as it’s boring for the media to keep hearing it over and over again, it sucks for her to have to keep saying the same thing over and over and over again,” he said. “It wears on her, but she’s a warrior.”
