Suge Knight Predicts Trump Could Pardon Diddy If Rapper is Convicted

Suge Knight predicted Sean “Diddy” Combs will be all right even if convicted of sex trafficking and racketeering.

The former CEO of Death Row Records believes Combs could receive a pardon by President Donald Trump. Knight revealed his prediction to Chris Cuomo on NewsNation’s “CUOMO” Tuesday night.

“I still feel that Puffy’s gonna be all right and have a fair shot at it, because Puffy didn’t — he’s not a dummy,” Knight said, per The Hill.

“I’m quite sure somebody’s going to talk to those jurors and convince one or two of them — that’s all you need, is one,” he said. “So, at the end of the day, it’s going to be a real exciting situation, but I think he’s going to be all right.”

Knight is currently serving a 28-year sentence in a California prison for voluntary manslaughter.

Cuomo then asked if Combs will be “all right” due to possible jury tampering.

Knight responded it does not “seem like the prosecution is that bad against him.”

The 60-year-old argued the rapper has “influence,” and it does not “seem like the prosecution is that bad against him.”

“I think he got some favors with the government. I think they’re going to show him a little leeway. It might not seem like it when it’s all said and done, but I don’t think he had nothing to worry about,” Knight, 60, said. “I don’t think he’s worried, because he’s going to be federal. And if he gets convicted, Trump’s going to pardon him.”

Cuomo asked if Knight thought Trump would pardon Combs if he was convicted of “for sex trafficking.”

“S‑‑‑, he pardoned Michael Harris,” Knight said. Knight was referring to man who helped found Godfather Entertainment, the parent company of Death Row Records. In 2021, he was granted clemency. He spent 33 years in prison on drug charges.

“They don’t care about that. It’s all about, you know, what’s in it for the long run,” he added.
