Trump said the technology effectively neutralized Maduro’s defenses as US helicopters moved into the capital.

On Jan. 3, Trump ordered a Delta Force strike on Venezuela that resulted on the capture of President Nicolás Maduro.

What Platner fails to mention is that millions of Venezuelans have fled their homeland due to Maduro's iron-fisted rule.

Tuesday’s flight follows a series of higher-profile operations since late summer, including U.S. strikes on vessels accused of drug smuggling in both the Caribbean Sea and the eastern Pacific.

Previously, Venezuela had a long-standing policy of refusing U.S. deportation flights. 

This reverses a Saturday statement from Venezuela indicating that U.S. immigration authorities had unilaterally suspended the flights.

He urged Venezuelans to mobilize, describing the country as facing threats from abroad — a reference to what he called “imperialist aggression.” 

The agency did not specify the exact nature of the threats but made clear that pilots should be alert to heightened danger.
