Child actor Hudson Meek died after falling out of a moving vehicle.
He was 16.
According to ABC News, Hudson was injured while on a street in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, on Dec. 19.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office reported he died on Dec. 21.
Hudson’s on-screen debut was in 2014’s “The Santa Con.”
He also had roles in various TV series, such as “MacGyver.”
He, however, was best known for his role in the 2017 film “Baby Driver.” He played a younger version of Ansel Elgort’s titular character.
“His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met,” a post on his Instagram page read.
Meek played football at Vestavia Hills High School, enjoyed Bible study with his teammates and had traveled to all 50 states. He loved snow skiing, making music playlists for his friends and singing in the school choir, per his obituary,
His obituary included his faith.
“More than anything, Hudson was passionate about his Christian faith,” the obituary continued. “He loved Bible Study meetings, youth retreats, mission trips, and just being at church. An active member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Hudson also attended youth events with friends at Shades Mountain Baptist, Vestavia Hills United Methodist, Mountain Brook Community Church, and any other church he could find with a youth event that focused on Jesus Christ.”
He is survived by his parents and older brother Tucker.
