‘The Blame Game Has Begun’ and Walz Starts Off the List: Report

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN - OCTOBER 28: Democratic presidential nominee, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris speaks during a campaign rally on October 28, 2024 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. “The blame game has begun inside Harris world.”

That’s according to Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich, who cites Lindy Li, a member of the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) National Finance Committee and Pennsylvania commissioner.

In a post on X, Heinrich shares Li’s perspective. And Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate Tim Walz starts off the list.

The pointing of fingers reportedly include, “Tim Walz was a bad choice of running mate, Shapiro would have carried the blue wall states.”

“People are wondering tonight what would have happened had Shapiro been on the ticket. And not only in terms of Pennsylvania,” Li said. “He’s a famously a moderate. So that would have signaled to the American people that she is not the San Francisco liberal that Trump said she was, but she went with someone actually to her left Minnesota…. In the eyes of the American people, Walz was the governor who oversaw the protests.”

Additionally, Harris’ positions “were not clearly staked out,” Heinrich writes.

Li pointed out Harris’ comment on “The View” where “she couldn’t think of a single thing that she would do differently from the Biden administration.”

“That was her chance,” Li said.

Heinrich writes, “The focus on fascism was not working.”

In another point, Heinrich writes, “Too many cooks in the kitchen led to muddled campaign messaging, poor staffing decisions in key battlegrounds.”

“She heard us. We raised serious concerns about the Pennsylvania campaign’s leadership. She actually installed someone on her own people in the final weeks of the campaign, but I fear it was too late,” Li said.

Lastly, Heinrich writes, “Harris team was expecting a protracted legal fight – even extended hotel rooms for big donors thru Thursday. Now they’re going home.”

Donald Trump was declared the winner in the 2024 presidential election early Wednesday by the Associated Press. Trump will be returning to the White House after he won Wisconsin, giving him more than the 270 electoral votes needed.

Harris is expected to call President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday, according to NBC News, citing two Harris aides. She is also expected to speak publicly.

Additionally, President Joe Biden is also reportedly expected to call Trump and speak publicly.
