Even most of the co-hosts of ‘The View’ were not immune from feeling Friday morning’s earthquake.
The 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit New York City at about 10:30 a.m., 30 minutes before the show starts.
Appropriately, the five women entered to Carole King’s “I Feel the Earth Move,” according to The Wrap.
“It looks like we’re alive! We’re alive and live in New York,” Joy Behar said.
It wasn’t long before their phones went off with emergency alerts, per the outlet.
Behar said she’s been in three earthquakes, one of which was also in New York, per The Wrap.
Ana Navarro’s barking dog alerted her to the situation.
Alyssa Farah Griffin’s last experience with an earthquake happened in Washington, D.C.
“The last one I was in, it was in DC in 2011,” Farah Griffin said. “I had to hide under a desk with Laura Ingraham. So you can imagine how terrifying that was.”
However, not all of the hosts felt the quake.
Sunny Hostin said she was listening to Beyoncé in her dressing room and missed it.
