Former Donald Trump should be careful around South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R), according to a co-host of ABC’s “The View.”

On Monday, the co-hosts “The View” talked about Noem’s — who has been seen as a potential vice presidential pick — admission she killed a dog..

Ana Navarro expressed disbelief the governor would write about the incident in her forthcoming book “as though it was normal and a good thing.”

“All I can say to you to this is, if she hates and shoots dangerous untrainable dogs who are dangerous to anyone they come in contact with, Trump better be careful,” she quipped.

Navarro added, “And if you all want to vote for a vice president who loves dogs, I got a suggestion.”

A picture of Vice President Kamala Harris smiling and holding up a dog was then shown on screen.

In her forthcoming book, “No Going Back: The Truth on What’s Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward,” Noem writes about her dog Cricket who was “a wirehair pointer, about 14 months old” with an “aggressive personality.”

After the dog failed to hunt but attacked a friend’s chickens, the governor shared she decided she had to put the dog down.

“It was not a pleasant job,” she explained. “But it had to be done.”
