Vice President J.D. Vance and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) were caught on hot mic ahead of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address.
“THIS IS GOLD!” one X user wrote.
“By the way, I think the speech is going to be great,” Vance is heard saying, adding, “But I don’t know how you do this for 90 minutes.”
Johnson responded, “The hardest thing was doing it during Biden when the speech was a stupid campaign speech.”
The House speaker then turned the microphone away.
