Tom Brady is trading the football field for a job in the airline industry.
The retired football star will be making touchdowns with Delta Air Lines as part of a new partnership agreement between the two. During a segment on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” Brady and Delta Airlines CEO Ed Bastian announced that Brady would be joining the company as a “strategic advisor.”
“It’s great to be here, and really great to be with Tom and we are announcing today a unique one-of-a-kind partnership with the greatest of all time who has delivered consistently on the largest stages in the world for many, many years,” Bastian said on Wednesday.

Bastian clarified that this was not a “sponsorship” but that Brady would “come inside the company” and would be interacting with employees.
“He’s going to come inside the company. He’s going to be talking to our people about greatness, about resilience, about excellence, about performance,” Bastian explained.
Brady explained that Bastian’s “vision and leadership over a long period of time has elevated the brand to an incredible place,” adding that he was “very fortunate” to be joining the Delta Airlines team and “continue to help inspire people to grow great communities.”
“In this next chapter of my life, to continue to do things like that is, really, you know stimulates my own personal growth in a lot of ways and I’m excited to share a lot of the lessons I’ve learned,” Brady said of the partnership.
On February 1, 2022, Brady announced that he would be retiring from football for a second time.
