President Donald Trump has not hesitated to mock former Vice President Joe Biden’s verbal gaffes, and now, he is the one being targeted.
“The Daily Show’s” Trevor Noah took aim at Trump’s blunders, introducing the “Trump’s Best Word” bracket — citing that it is March, which is when the NCAA bracket for March Madness begins.
“What if you don’t like watching basketball?” Noah asked during Wednesday night’s episode, adding, “I’d like to introduce ‘The Daily Show’s’ Trump’s Best Word bracket.”
After showing clips of the president saying, “I know words. I have the best words,” the host went on to say, “Trump may be bad at disease control, immigration, domestic policy, and literally everything else, but when it comes to words, he truly is the best.”
Noah then pointed out that for the bracket he included some of Trump’s “best, best words. Because, let me tell you, he’s got a lot of them.”
Then the mocking really kicked up a notch.
The show aired clips of some of Trump’s previous gaffes, including the president pronouncing words like the United States as “United Shaysh.”
“I don’t know about you guys but I’ve never heard better words,” Noah said mockingly.
“It’s comforting to know that we have a president that comes from a higher place, unlike the rest of us who come from humble oranges [sic]. I could play clips of Trump all day saying Trumpy words, but I’m not going to do that. OK, I am going to do that.”
Noah didn’t stop there, as he continued to play clips of Trump mispronouncing words.
