Former President Donald Trump is suggesting conservatives should end their boycott of Bud Light.

On Tuesday, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “The Bud Light ad was a mistake of epic proportions, and for that a very big price was paid, but Anheuser-Busch is not a Woke company, but I can give you plenty that are, am building a list, and might just release it for the World to see. Why not, the Radical Left does it viciously to well run, Conservative companies – and people! Very nasty, but it’s the way they play the game!”

“On the other hand, Anheuser-Busch spends $700 Million a year with our GREAT Farmers, employ 65 thousand Americans, of which 1,500 are Veterans, and is a Founding Corporate Partner of Folds of Honor, which provides Scholarships for families of fallen Servicemen [and] Women. They’ve raised over $30,000,000 and given 44,000 Scholarships,” he continued.

Finally Trump suggested, “Anheuser-Busch is a Great American Brand that perhaps deserves a Second Chance? What do you think? Perhaps, instead, we should be going after those companies that are looking to DESTROY AMERICA!”

The call for an end to the boycott comes as Bud Light is still struggling after conservatives expressed outrage in April over a sponsored Instagram post with transgender influence Dylan Mulvaney.

According to CNN, the company was still experiencing a 30% weekly sales decrease as of Dec. 2023.

Caitlyn Jenner, a transgender Fox News contributor, shared Trump’s post and wrote, “As someone that worked for this incredible American company, and got to know them very well, I raced for [Anheuser Busch] in the 80’s I agree with [Trump].”

Meanwhile, another user with the name “johnnymaga” wrote, “Picking up a case of bud light after work.”

Other conservatives were not pleased with the post:

Anheuser-Busch has not issued an apology. Backing off of the most effective conservative boycott in history without even an apology would turn one of our biggest recent victories into one of our dumbest self-owns. https://t.co/pN68W8NzlR

Much like Peyton Manning, it is pretty obvious that Trump is being paid in some sort of significant way for him to sellout and provide cover for Bud Light among their base demographic… https://t.co/cjeIV4p4r9

Endlessly amusing that the dissident right, with all its talk about the stuff we eat killing us and endocrine disrupters turning the frogs gay and hot takes about woke capital, is on Team Bud Light https://t.co/2ji7Gyn55d

Politico points out the post comes as Trump was set to hold a fundraiser with a lobbyist for Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light.
